1986 Motorcycle Trip to Mexico

In 1986 I decided to try to ride to Tierra del Fuego, from Vancouver on my Motorcycle. When I got to Oaxaca, I had had enough isolation, so I gave the motorcycle away and carried on by bus. I got as far as Tikal in Guatemala before deciding to head back. There was a lot of unrest in El Salvador and Nicaragua at the time and too many kids walking around with machine guns. I was afraid that I would become target practice. I headed to Merida and then on to Zephyrhills Florida, where I made a few jumps before returning to Vancouver.
